Winter break is right around the corner, and with nearly two weeks off of school, there is a lot of time to celebrate the holidays! Here are some of the best holiday attractions to visit over winter break.
First off, notably the biggest spectacle of the holiday season here in Carmel, is the Christkindlmarkt. Voted as the #1 Best Holiday Market in the U.S. for the fourth year, Christkindlmarkt is full of festive activities and cultural German booths. At the Christkindlmarkt, you can expect to experience music from live performers, many German foods such as Bratwurst, Schnitzel, and classic German chocolates.
Enjoy the ‘Holiday at Carter Green’, the annual holiday tree lighting ceremony inside of the Christkindlmarkt, along with the ‘Holiday Trolly’ that passes through the Christkindlmarkt, and the heart of Carmel.
The ‘Magnificent Monon’, ranging from The Carter Green to Main Street is a stunning outdoor walkway that brings many seasonal lights and decorations to the eye, also giving the option to take a stop in Midtown or the Arts & Design District to grab a bite to eat.
‘Santa Saturdays’ gives the public an opportunity to visit Santa at his house, located at 200 South Range Line Road, every Saturday up until Christmas.
