Saint Patrick’s Day, celebrated every March 17th, is a lively tribute to Ireland’s patron saint, Saint Patrick. It’s a day filled with parades, cheerful music, dances, and dressing in green. More than just festivities, it’s a day for people to enjoy Irish traditions and customs. Families gather for special meals, including traditional Irish food like soda bread and colcannon. Many cities around the globe host events showcasing Irish music, dance, and art. The day is marked by the iconic shamrock, a symbol Saint Patrick used to teach the concept of the Holy Trinity. The Circle City Irish Fest is a great place to celebrate Irish culture in Indiana, and it takes place in Indianapolis on September 20th and 21st. Saint Patrick’s Day brings people together to celebrate Irish culture and have a great time!
