College basketball is just around the corner, as there’s only less than a month until the first tip off on November 3rd. There have been a lot of changes over the off season due to seeds, new recruits, transfers, and even coaching. Today, we are going to talk about some of the changes during the NCAA offseason and what is new.
Coming off of a championship none other than Florida has had some changes as their best player, Walter Clayton Jr., has graduated and was drafted into the NBA. Houston is expected to be ranked number 1 thanks to all of their players returning such as star players LJ Cryer and Milos Uzan after they suffered a heart-breaking loss to Florida in the championship game in the final seconds.
Purdue Boilermakers have had a lot of off season news with transfers like Oscar Cluff who is a great center averaging the most rebounds in college basketball. They have their returning Big 3 in TKR, Loyer, and favorite to win the Wooden Award; Braden Smith. They also have new freshman Omer Mayer, who played on the Israel national team and is looking to be a great prospect.
In conclusion, one of the best sports of all time will be returning in November for a lot of drama, beauty, and suspense. Safe to say College Basketball is back.
