NEW YORK, NEW YORK – On Friday, February 25, 2023, the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System (IBS) announced their 2023 New York City conference winners. CHTV won a total of nine national awards at the conference.

CHTV won:

• Best Newscast – Scott Croner, Ryan Conley, CHTV Seniors (CHTV October)
• Best Comedy Program – Zach Francis (Slay or be Slayed)
• Best News Report – Ireland Jones (Dr. Phares Interview)
• Best use of YouTube– Scott Croner, Trinity Bitterman, & Morgan Bishop (@CHTVCarmel Television)
• Best Station Promotion – Caroline Petry (CHTV Announcements)
• Best Talk Program – Jack Ringenberg (The Jack Ringenberg Show)
• Best Program Promotion – Scott Croner, Darion Watson, & Ryan Conely (CHS Football Sectionals)
• Best Sports Report – Ava Luo (Girl’s Golf)
• Best Motion Graphics – Scott Croner (CHTV Graphics)

CHTV was also a runner-up for:

• Best Logo – Scott Croner (CHTV Logo)
• Best Sports Play-By-Play broadcast – Scott Croner & Ryan Conley (Basketball – Lumiere V Carmel)
• Best Commercial/Promotion – Natasha Glenn & Kailey Schulz (CCPL Grand Opening)
