Legendary B-Town Bar, BuffaLouie released their plans to expand to Carmel, according to a Facebook post on August 2nd. The franchise will “spreading their wings” at 43 W. St. where owner Ed Schwartzman is “so excited for the potential,” “I don’t think we could have picked a better location.” According to IDS News.
This new location also brings in new leadership. Kevin “Yogi” Ferrell will be co-owning the Carmel establishment. Ferrell is best known for his college career, good enough for two first-team all Big Ten recognitions, while also enjoying a minor professional career, most recently in China with the Shanghai Sharks. Ferrell will be joining ownership as part of Hoosier culture and translating that culture to this new Carmel location.
The Hoosier favorite is known for their wings and excellent fan atmosphere. With IU origins, the bar plans to continue their tradition of rooting cream and crimson, while also supporting the teams of their new Indy-area location as well as other universities represented by the Carmel community.
With no official opening day, BuffaLouie plans to open their doors before the end of this year. However, the menu will remain the same as its Bloomington location as the wings will remain delicious.
