On March 9th 2024, I attended the 3D Printing Expo located at the Carmel Clay Public Library on 425 E Main St. It was a noon to afternoon event lasting from 10am to 3pm. At the 3D Printing event, many tables were set up with tons of different prints that varied in all sizes.
A couple special ones that stood out to me were a giant castle that took up half of the table and a moving Terminator head with LED lights. Feeling lucky? Enter in a raffle to win your very own 3D printed item or buy some at one of the many tables. Learn about how everything works by talking to some of the very friendly staff set up at each table.
There were different 3D printers set up ranging in all sizes with some actively printing something. Try making your own 3D model with several tablets set up with a 3D printing software that allows you to look at different models made
All in all the many different 3D printed items were very cool, 5/5. Very friendly staff that explained and answered questions about printing, 5/5. The raffle and buyable items were an added touch that made it better, 4/5. In total, I’d rate the event 4.5 out of 5 3D printers.
