A solar eclipse is set to occur on April 8th, lighting up the sky. Residents of Indiana will be able to see the moon pass between the Earth and the sun. However, it’s important to know that looking at the sun during an eclipse can damage your eyes. To view this event safely, make sure to get certified eclipse glasses. Indiana being located directly in the line of the eclipse, will bring people from all over to come and see this stunning occurrence. Many state parks will be offering eclipse viewings, as well as workshops, arts and crafts, and activities. People also often hold eclipse parties and get-togethers. This event will be an amazing display and is an opportunity not to be missed.
