With the beginning of the school year, comes new renovations around the school. Right now construction teams are working on interior and exterior projects to better update the school and add in new things! There are a total of five different projects all throughout the school that are currently being worked on.

Firstly, there are the performing arts projects, where they are working to add more wall protection with new tiles. This is currently set to finish in October. Secondly, there is the polytech renovation in the engineering and technology department. This renovation is taking place on the inside and outside of the department, as they are redoing some parts of the inside and extending the building on the outside for more space. This project is set to finish around next year in the fall. As well, there are the TV and radio department renovations. This project is all for updating the equipment used by the two departments such as cameras, audio boards, microphones and furniture. This is currently set to finish in the next couple weeks, but most likely after fall break. Next, there is the construction of the new natatorium. Along with this comes the building of the new entrance, door 21, where students are able to enter and exit through from/to the trail. The door is set to be open by the end of fall break and the natatorium is set for January. Lastly, there is the building of the Greyhound Activity Center, which is right behind the stadium. This project is supposed to be finished around the end of September, as they just finished putting down the turf.

All of these new exciting projects are currently in progress and many of them, finishing up to update the school and make it better!
