The annual Carmel Christkindlmarkt is open! This holiday filled market can be found at 10 Carter Green – Carmel, IN between The Palladium & The Tarkington Theater. Be sure to give it a visit while it’s here because it is only open until Christmas eve, December 24. The best part is that entry into this incredible place is free! While they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, you can visit them any other day of the week. Hours are as follows…
Wednesday: 4 – 9 PM
Thursday: 4 – 9 PM
Friday: 12 – 9 PM
Saturday: 12 – 9 PM
Sunday: 12 – 8 PMYou can find so many fun things to do at Christkindlmarkt. One of the most obvious treats there are all of the food booths! You can find things as basic as hot cocoa to things such as their amazing (and popular) tornado potatoes! Speaking of hot cocoa, each year there is an annual mug so be sure to be on the lookout for this year’s design. If you are feeling something more activity based, then the 180 by 80 foot outdoor ice skating rink is something worth checking out! If this is something that interests you, then be sure to book your 90 minute skate session at www.carmelchristkindlmarkt.com. However, there is much more to do at this magical place than just food and ice skating. Some other fun things include visiting the Winter Pavilion for live music and performances, learning all about German culture and history, doing fun Christmas crafts at the Kinderecke, and much more! Give the Carmel Christkindlmarkt a visit before it’s too late!
