Inauguration day is on Monday, January 20th, 2025, at 12:00 PM. This is when Donald Trump takes office as the 47th President of the United States. Inauguration day occurs every four years. This takes place in the U.S. Capitol building in Washington, DC. How to get tickets starts here: The Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies makes a limited number of inauguration tickets available to the public through members of congress. Tickets are free and allow you to watch in person on the grounds of the U.S. capitol building as the vice president recites the oath on the Inaugural platform and gives the honor to the brand new president Donald Trump. If you aren’t able to attend you can watch it live on NBC starting at 12:00 PM.
