Everyone has that one story of their first concert. Most of the time it’s a popular band or artist they begged their parents to see as a little kid. For me this was a twenty-one pilots show that I saw with my whole family. It was a fun experience but it didn’t intrigue me to go to more shows. However, as I grew up and became a teenager and got more responsibilities I found a new love for shows. The joy of finding an artist you’ve been listening to for years and getting a group of friends together to see them is a fun but unique experience. Concerts allow you to bond with friends over things you might not usually talk about and experience something you’re passionate about. Whether you’re sitting in your seats watching someone perform or in the mosh pits screaming the lyrics, concerts are an unmatched experience. Also, concerts are an opportunity to see an artist in a certain era of their career as they may never be that small or big of an artist again by the time you see them again. They also act as an escape from reality and experience a one-in-a-lifetime experience. If you’re a big music fan I urge you to go to concerts and find people to go with.
