Romi Bean has been named the first woman lead TV sports anchor in the history of Denver CO. Romi has been associated with CBS for over 4 years now, and aims to stay at CBS.

Romi started her career by covering the Denver Broncos at CBS part time. For 2 years she covered the Broncos in the mornings, until she got promoted to being the weekend sports announcer. Just last month she was named CBS Colorado’s lead sports anchor. She is the very first woman to be named a lead sports anchor in all of Denver TV history. With this, she feels like she has a large responsibility with the role.

“This is a responsibility I do not take lightly. So many incredible women have come before me and paved the way for me to break a new barrier. It is an honor and a privilege to continue what they started. I hope this shows young women and girls that sports are for everyone!”
