Kam Krull

It is February and this month is Black History Month. February dedicates and honors the triumphs and struggles of African Americans throughout U.S. history.

Recognizing and learning black history is an expectation, and, as a society, being knowledgeable and supportive to black culture and history is so important. It is the way to become a fair and just society.

Ways you can embrace this month is too, Support Black-Owned Businesses, learn About Noteworthy Black Figures and Their Contributions, Donate to Charities That, Support Anti-Racism Equity and Equality, Purchase, Read, and Share Books by Black Authors, Support and Learn About Black Women, Listen to or Read “The 1619 Project” by the New York Times, Participate in Online Events, Attend Virtual Black History Month Celebrations. There are so many ways to learn even if you don’t have time, there is no excuse. Go out and find a way to learn, whether it is big or small.
