As many people know, March Madness is coming up soon and everyone is excited!
The bracket is set to be declared on March 15th (Sunday). Many people are going to be scrambling to get tickets to watch their favorite teams and root for them as close as they can. If you are unfamiliar with the rules of the tournament it is a 68 team single elimination tournament that is designed for upsets, crazy games and great team performances.
Some of the teams people believe to win are teams like Michigan, Duke, Arizona, and Florida. These teams all have great players that are possibly going to the NBA if everything goes in their favor. March has a rich history of great sports games and seasons that were supposed to end the first round then made a run deep into the bracket. These are called Cinderella stories or bracket breakers, and there is always a team like this that comes out of nowhere and ruins millions of people’s brackets.
Speaking of brackets, there has still yet to be a perfect bracket ever filled out. This is seen as one of the rarest things not only in sports but also in the world. The real chances of getting a perfect bracket are 1 in 9.2 quintillion. To show how rare that is, you would have a better chance of someone choosing a grain of sand and you picking it out of all the beaches and desserts in the world than getting a perfect bracket.
