Officer Rodriguez is spending his last day as CHS’s SRO Officer on Novermber 6th (today as of publishing!)
After 31/2 years of working as a school resource officer for Carmel High School, Officer Rodriguez is being promoted to work as Sergeant for the Carmel Police Department where he’ll be supervising other officers on patrol.
A message was sent out to school staff at noon, “While I’m truly excited for this next chapter, it is not easy to say goodbye to a place that has meant so much to me.”
“Carmel High School has become like a second home to me. The relationships built here – the friendships, the shared goals, the memories – are ones I’ll always carry with me.”
