The Carmel High School Marching Greyhounds had another phenomenal season, with their show “La Arena”. Their season started off with a win at the Brownsburg invitational, then continued with another win at the Bands of America (BOA) Regionals, where they traveled to Louisville. At both the ISSMA state competition and the BOA Super Regional competition they took second, falling just short to Avon High School from Avon, Indiana.

They took 3rd place in the BOA Grand Nationals, with 1st place being Avon High School and Flower Mount High School from Flower Mount, Texas following close behind. A popular photo, taken while teams were waiting to see who would win Grand Nationals, depicts a member of the Flower Mount Marching Band and a member of the Carmel High School Marching Greyhounds holding hands. The picture shows the unity between the two teams, and sends a message to everyone viewing that, during a major competition, even the top teams can be united with hope.

Also during final awards, Carmel was given a huge surprise, they were invited to play during the 2027 Rose Bowl Parade, this marks, what is going to be, their second visit to the Rose Bowl, the first one being in 2014. Awesome job Carmel High School Marching Greyhounds! We can’t wait to see you again!
