Last weekend, CHTV’s main cast flew out to New York for a national broadcasting competition. Planned months in advance, the team expected to take home the gold for as many categories as possible. What they didn’t expect, however, was to keep those gold medals in New York just a little while longer when flights were postponed due to heavy snow.
Heavy snow storms slammed the east coast on Sunday burying New Jersey, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Connecticut under feet of snow thick enough to keep most people in in what various sources claim is one of the worst blizzards in many years, with light snows affecting Indiana.
As for Indiana, solid sunny weather with an average high of 50 degrees fahrenheit is expected to go until Saturday, with temperatures even rising to a high of 60 degrees on Friday and Saturday. Cold weather will resume after the period, although there may be snow on Monday. It is unlikely that this snow will cancel school.
