Aarini Pareek, News Intern
Aarini Pareek is a sophomore and super excited for her first year as a CHTV staff member. This year she is getting to know the life of a staffer as a News Intern. She enjoys spending time with her fellow TV 3-4 staffers and loves being on screen for their practice newscasts. Her favorite thing to do at CHTV is work with her classmates to help out her supervisors and come up with ways to make the channel better. She is in her element when it comes to writing, editing, and being on camera. Her news beat is cultural events around Carmel and Indianapolis. During the school day, she enjoys going to her favorite classes, including piano, math, chemistry, and her SSRT. She is part of a variety of clubs, including Green Action Club, Mock Trial, HOSA, Rising Stars, Model UN, and A5. Outside of school, Aarini enjoys dancing. She learns a classical Indian dance style called Kathak. She is getting to know Carmel High School and the City of Carmel, as she moved from St. Louis last year. She still enjoys going on trips there to meet her friends. Her favorite part about CHS is getting to know all of the wonderful people and forming new friendships.
