Astronomy is a great class because it teaches about the universe that we live in, the science behind the creation of the universe, and how beautiful not only our planet is but all of the things that the cosmos. Part of what makes the class so incredible is the ability to be so close to the stars even if it is just a projection and know that when you are actually outside and look up at the night sky what you learn in that class is truly out there and with each small light that lives in the sky you know that you just might learn what that is next class. I think astronomy is a class everyone should take whether in high school or in college. Yes, it teaches you about our solar system, our galaxy, the galaxies that exist throughout the universe and more, but it also teaches that there is so much more to our universe than just us and our Earth. It shows how beautiful the design of our cosmos is and allows space to appreciate the creation of our home and all the other parts of nature that come together to form universal harmony and beauty.
